INVESTMENT CONFERENCE
Investment Conference will be held on the 18th and 19th of June 2008 in Toplice Sveti Martin (Sveti Martin Spa Resort), situated in Grkaveščak, near Sveti Martin na Muri. In addition to beautiful ambience and relaxing atmosphere, the reason for choosing this location for the Conference is that the resort itself is an example of successful investment in Međimurje, which is further emphasised by plans for expansion, which have already been partially realised.
The Conference itself will gather a large number of participants, directly or indirectly involved in investment processes. The following participants have already been announced: representatives of the Investment Promotion and Export Directorate under the authority of the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship; representatives of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency; high ranking officials of Međimurje County and heads of districts in charge of business zones in Međimurje. Invitations will also be sent to representatives of companies that exemplify successful investments in Međimurje. Among the participants will also be the representatives of chambers of commerce, embassies of EU member countries, consulting agencies, investment consultants, foreign companies, developers and individuals. We expect such structure of participants to ensure a credible and constructive atmosphere, and planned lectures and matchmaking activities to provide relevant answers to all questions and contacts of interested parties.
